Any children’s dolls’ house is likely to undergo a certain amount of rough treatment. When purchasing a dolls’ house for a young child try to find one which is made of good-quality, robust material. A wooden dolls’ house will usually be sturdy enough to endure heavy use.

Collectors’ furniture breaks easily and often leaves nasty sharp edges. If you do buy collectors’ doll’s furniture for your child it is advisable to monitor your child when they play with it.
